The Strength Training and Rehabilitation Department of Juventud Torremolinos have the following objectives:
- Boost Performance and injury prevention.
- Assistance and follow – up programs in fitness, pre-session and pre-match warm-ups, control and management of weightlifting training, injuries prevention and physical assessments.
Something fundamental is to ensure the athlete could carry out a physical activity in accordance with their needs and physical characteristics, in order to avoid deteriorations and prevent possible future injuries.
We work individually, adapting our knowledge to each kind of injury.
Within this area, we can find:
- Sports physiotherapy: a medical specialization that looks for the injury prevention, the athlete’s performance improvement and of course, rehabilitation.
- A sport retraining is a fusion in the sportive field that combines physiotherapy and physical preparation knowledge, which seeks to get the athlete to get ready for physical activity quicker and optimally after suffering an injury.
